This Mobile Video Event Data Recorder (MVEDR) is designed to protect people and high-value cargo in transit. The MVEDR provides real-time wireless notification of incident type, GPS location and multi-camera live incident video.

The Evicam^® Secure Vehicle Surveillance System includes a ruggedized solid state onboard recording device which records up to eighty-four (84) hours of encrypted video from four to eight cameras, audio, GPS and vehicle operational parameters. In addition, the MVEDR wirelessly transmits live, multi-view streaming video providing remote incident assessment enabling authorities to respond appropriately. Incidents include accidents, hijacking, cargo theft, panic button, driver performance and asset management. Data and video can be transmitted upon the triggering of pre-programmed events, such as driver activated panic button or tripped accelerometer due to accident.

The Evicam^® patented proprietary process creates a tamper-proof digital "chain of custody of data" acceptable for use as evidence in a court of law.
